What to look for in great socks?

When we manufacture socks, we have to add a seam; the best place to do this is to position the stitches so that the seam runs along the toe nails. This won't rub on your toes or cause blisters, so check this when fitting!

The sole wants to be firm and supportive. All our socks have elastic built into the fabric where needed to pull the sock tight to the foot - you don't want lose fitting socks to cause discomfort over a long day!

The heel and instep should all work together to pull the sock close to the foot, again leaving you with a feeling of comfort and support but not an overly tight fit.

Working your way up the calf, the cuff should have the same feeling; you don't want the cuff to be too tight as this could restrict blood flow. Similarly, you don't want it too lose so that it irritates your ankle and falls down.

If you are worried about any element of fit consult your podiatrist as your foot health is really important, this article is solely a style and comfort fit guide.

All our socks are a combed cotton and nylon mix to create a breathable and comfortable piece of clothing.
